Effective January 4, 2010, Spécialité Hydraulique CĂ´te Nord, Inc. (SHCN) located in Sept-Iles, Quebec, was acquired by Wainbee Limited, a national leader in the distribution of fluid power and automation components and
systems. As a result of this acquisition, Wainbee now has 13 locations coast-to-coast servicing customers from Vancouver to Halifax.
"Wainbee began doing business in Quebecin 1959 and prior to this acquisition we have been serving the province from locations in Montreal, Quebecand Saguenay/Chicoutimi," says Wainbee President Ron Rodger. "The purchase of SHCN extends our strong presence in Quebecto cover the Cote Nord and Labradorregions as well as expanding our existing business in the mining and metals markets."
