Calgary, Alberta — The Project Management Institute recently recognized the region's top projects and project managers at its 2009 Awards Gala. Project of the Year went to Suncor's Millenium Coker Unit.
“Behind every great project is a great project management team and our gala awards program recognizes the best and brightest in our industry,” said Neil Sanderson, president, Project Management Institute, Southern Alberta Chapter. “There are new examples everyday of projects spiraling out of control because of inadequate planning which makes honouring this year's award recipients even that much more special,” he said.
