Warminster, PA — ABB Instrumentation recently announced the launch of a new range of flowmeters that, according to the company, sets a new standard in flow measurement. The FlowMaster range provides customers with new levels of flexibility, intuitive control and measuring accuracy for the complete spectrum of flow measurement applications.

Customers can select products tailored to specific industries, including chemical & petrochemical, water & wastewater, food & beverage, power &  utilities, pharmaceutical & biotech, oil & gas, metals & mining and pulp & paper.

"With the introduction of the FlowMaster range, we're redefining the way that our customers measure and manage flow," says Blake Doney, head of the flow products business for ABB in the US. "The flexibility, intuitive control and enhanced precision delivered by our new products will enable customers to maximize their uptime with minimal fixed and operational costs."

Built on over 100 years of experience and developed in close co-operation with customers, FlowMaster's features include unsurpassed measurement accuracy, unrivalled onboard diagnostics and greater robustness and reliability. FlowMaster is also easier to specify, install, maintain and upgrade, leading to higher return on investment.

Blake Doney sums up by adding, "FlowMaster is truly a groundbreaking flow metering product family in every dimension. It also features the ABB Universal HMI — the standard for all new ABB Instrumentation products — which simplifies operation, maintenance and training. The result: reduced cost of ownership. ABB has achieved a leadership position in our markets.
