The P4 from Igus is an energy chain series where all chain links have the same short pitch.
The system is low-maintenance and allows safe energy and data
transmission over up to 1000m. In addition, rollers do not roll over
each other, and are fully integrated into the sides of the energy
chain.
Igus has conducted tests at speeds up to 7m/s in operating conditions
on their grounds, with no safety issues. Suggested applications include
indoor and outdoor crane equipment and conveyor systems.
