Caterpillar Inc. has announced the G3516C natural gas generator, which is available with optional air and fuel system controls. Rated at 50 Hz and 60 Hz, the generator provides high-efficiency power for stand-alone applications. It uses a heavy duty, diesel-based bottom-end platform and features a combustion chamber capable of operating at pressures as low as 1.5 psi. Optional features include exhaust variations, circuit breakers, and battery chargers.
