Extra-durable electric switch PDF Print E-mail
K-Tek’s new MS41 is a durable, magnetically actuated electric switch. It features dual compartments that isolate the double-pole, double-throw switching mechanism from the environment, a magnetically coupled gauge that avoids contact with liquids, and an ultrasonic level switch which allows the MS41 to work in dusty, humid environments. It also has hermetically sealed electrical connections, a stainless steel enclosure, and a cam action switching mechanism.

Suggested applications include corrosive off-shore environments, temperatures up to 538 degrees Celcius, and high vibration applications, such as pump and compressor skids. It meets the requirements for use in hazardous areas and is ATEX, FM, and CSA rated as explosion proof and intrinsically safe.
