Bonfiglioli Canada introduced the HDP (Heavy Duty Parallel Shaft) speed reducers to the Canadian market. The first nine of a total of 12 sizes is now available worldwide. This new parallel-shaft gear series is compact and powerful, and can be installed in a wide variety of configurations, leading to a wide range of application possibilities, says the company. The power density of this new generation has been significantly increased compared to preceding models and features 637,000 in. lbs. of rated torque, says the company. The nine models now available are rated: 41,000, 58,000, 102,000, 192,000, 234,000, 313,000, 513,000 and 637,000 in. lbs. and provide the power for a wide range of uses.
