 Bucyrus says its new compact loader is a diesel-powered, multi-purpose LHD vehicle engineered to access low-seam operations that have proven difficult to access with current equipment available. The Bucyrus compact loader offers features not found in any other product in the underground coal market, particularly in the area of the cab and controls and sets the bar in the sub-10 market, says the company. The design and manufacture of the compact loader is modular where the customer can choose more than just the attachments (i.e. cab height and location, engine and lift capacity). Wet and dry exhaust conditioner systems are available with the compact loader.
