As of July 21, 2008, the "Certificate in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA Systems" is available online from ICD Technologies. The emphasis will be on recent developments and latest applications, and will be illustrated using case studies. Presented by Richard Wyman, it aims to give advice from experts in the field and to assist in planning, programming, and installing.

The intended audience is engineers, electricians, maintenance, and anyone who wants to be updated on SCADA and PLC developments. The course consists of 12 modules and six live webcasts over a three-month period.
