Cliplight Mfg. (a manufacturer of HVAC/R aftermarket tools) introduced the Ultra Pack, a one-two punch combination of complementary products that knocks out moisture/acid with a can of Dry R and seals refrigerant leaks with a can of the manufacturer's Super Seal HVACR air-conditioning/refrigeration (AC/R) system leak sealant. Since Cliplight's leak-sealing process requires a moisture-free system for ultimate efficacy, the Ultra Pack includes a one-ounce can of Dry-R that eliminates the required time-consuming procedure of drying out a system with filter/drier change-outs and triple evacuations to boil off moisture, says the company. Ultra shouldn't be confused, however, with the recently introduced Super Seal Total, which combines smaller doses of Super Seal HVACR, Dry-R, plus a dye combined into one application can. www.cliplight.com

When a tool is in for service, the work no longer needs to stop. Hilti Tool Fleet Management customers can receive loaner tools at no cost (some limitations apply) when their corresponding Tool Fleet Management tool is being repaired. The loaner service is an exclusive Hilti feature for qualifying Premium Tool Fleet Management customers, says the company. A wide range of tools are eligible for the loaner service, including most hammer drills, demolition hammers, diamond core rigs and drills, rotating and pipe lasers, and select powder- and gas-actuated tools. Whenever a covered tool goes in for calibration or repair, the Tool Fleet Management customer can request a free loaner tool via express delivery to maintain jobsite productivity. When the repaired tool is sent back to the customer, a pre-addressed and pre-paid shipping label will be included for return of the loaner tool.
Emerson Process Management introduced the Fisher POSI-SEAL A81 rotary valve. Tight shutoff and the long seal life capability of the A81 make it suited for on/off applications. Complete shutoff is made possible by the pressure-assisting action of the valve seal ring. The opening and closing path of the eccentric valve disk minimizes contact with the seal ring, thereby reducing seal wear, says the company. Interchangeable sealing technology allows the A81 valve body to accept both soft and metal seals. The POSI-SEAL valve is highly suited to automated on-off, quarter-turn performance and is typically used with the FieldQ rack-and-pinion actuator. The new rotary valve can be used in most process on/off applications. It installs easily in either a horizontal or vertical orientation with no detriment to performance or cycle life, says the company.
Sullair Corporation announced the redesign of its 100- to 600-HP, two-stage tandem rotary screw compressors. The TS series tandem compressors feature variable capacity control (VCC) and spiral valve technology. The compressors offer a choice of either constant speed drive models TS-20, TS-32 and TS-32S, with capacities of 500 to 3000 acfm, or variable speed drive (VSD) models V-200TS and V-320TS, which have a capacity range of 495 to 2310 acfm. Pressures for all Sullair two-stage tandem models range from 100 to 175 psig. VCC, achieved with Sullair's spiral valve technology, allows the compressor to match pressure and capacity with system demand, says the company.

Part of the new FlowMaster portfolio of flow meters, ProcessMaster is availablein the range of sizes: 1/10-inch to 80 inches. Komatsu America Corp. says its D475A-5SD Super Dozer was developed to provide productivity, reliability and operator comfort for the mining and quarry industries. The Super Dozer pushes more material without a proportionate increase in operating weight and horsepower thanks to its exclusive proprietary blade design, says the company. The Tier 2 D475A-5-SD has an operating weight of 249,560 pounds and features a powerful, clean Komatsu SAA12V140E-3 turbocharged, air-to-air, after-cooled diesel engine that provides a maximum net output of 890 HP (664kW, says the company. For greater efficiency during long pushes, the lockup mode allows the system to automatically engage the torque converter lockup clutch. Locking up the torque converter transmits all the engine power directly to the transmission and increases ground speed, says the company.
