Kidde Fire Systems offers the new fire-suppression system: the Kidde Sentinel. A fully integrated control, detection and suppression system, Kidde Sentinel will be the first FM-approved aqueous suppression system for mobile machinery and vehicles, says the company. The system can be designed to use the new environmentally non-reportable wet agent AquaGreenXT, or the versatile dry chemical agent, depending on the application. Further, the system can be configured with combinations of wet agent and dry agent for primary and secondary protection. Operating in a wide range of temperatures, the Kidde Sentinel protects vehicles and machinery working in extreme conditions, such as arctic mining or slag hauling, says the company.
