 ABB Instrumentation launched a new range of electromagnetic flow meters, which are specifically targeted at the chemical, oil/gas mining industries. Part of the new FlowMaster portfolio of flow meters, ProcessMaster is availablein the range of sizes: 1/10-inch to 80 inches. Whether an integral, remote or pipe-mounted installation is required, a configurable common electronics platform provides the best tailor-made solution, says the company. ProcessMaster incorporates self-cleaning and double-sealed electrodes. By using a higher excitation frequency combined with advanced filtering, ProcessMaster improves measurement accuracy by reducing the impact of fluid and electrode noise, says the company.
