The VDS-104 system is a versatile four-channel vibration monitoring
system which combines a full featured Nema 4 monitor with 4-20 mA
vibration transmitters, ideal for monitoring large industrial fans or
any critical rotating machinery.
This complete vibration monitoring system can simultaneously monitor up
to four locations. VDS-104 can be supplied with one, two, three or four
VT series vibration transmitters, depending on your requirements. The
system displays Velocity Measurements in inches/sec or mm/sec. Each
channel supports a 4-20 mA current loop vibration transmitters [models
VT100, 0-1 inch/sec; VT200, 0-2 inch/sec; or VT500, 0-5 inch/sec]. Two
alarms per channel are provided and each alarm is adjustable across the
entire measuring range and adjustable time delays are provided for each
channel [0 to 20 seconds] to prevent nuisance alarms.
LED's indicate status of alarms for each channel. A large dome LED
flashes to visually indicate an alarm condition, with manual or
automatic reset. Simple system setup via 4 pushbuttons on the front
panel. The enclosure is Nema 4 rated with a clear front cover.
