Welder stick electrodes PDF Print E-mail
Hobart Brothers have released a new line of mild steel-stick electrodes designed to improve productivity on flat and horizontal welding applications. The Rocket 7024 electrodes are suited for general plate, tank and construction-equipment fabrication, and for SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) applications requiring high deposition rates and high travel speeds.  Featuring a self-removing slag system that completely releases slag: Rocket 7024 electrodes improve productivity by minimizing timely post-weld activities (i.e. chipping or grinding), says the company. Designed for AC, DCEN or DCEP welding, Rocket 7024 electrodes are available in 1/8-, 5/32-, 3/16-, 7/32- and 1/4-inch diameters.
