Hansford Sensors has launched a range of new products that enable engineers to bring yet greater efficiency to vibration monitoring in a range of applications. Among the new products are the latest 4-20mA Transmitters, or Loop Powered Sensors, the new M12 Cable Assemblies with protective conduits and Snap On Quick Release Cables. With the capability of interfacing directly into PLC, BMS, or SCADA, the 4-20mA Transmitters / Loop Powered Sensors (LPS) are ideal for online monitoring. Using Hansford Sensors’ 4-20mA devices to measure lower value assets, such as fans and pumps, offers a cost-effective alternative when AC components are not required.

Exair's new Digital Flowmeters with wireless capability use a Zigbee mesh network protocol to measure and monitor your compressed air use, trends, and historical data. Each meter has a range of 100 feet (30 meters) and transmits data to an Ethernet connected gateway. Each meter and gateway are configured for security and have 128 bit encryption for the wireless transmissions. Measuring compressed air is the first step toward identifying high compressed air use areas, compressed air leaks and optimizing air use.
Fluke and Veros Systems have entered into an agreement to collaborate on asset performance and condition monitoring technologies, with the goal of increasing visibility into the efficiency and reliability of electric motor driven machines. The Fluke 438-II Power Quality and Motor Analyzer is the first tool to result from that collaboration.
