LearningSI, a provider of customized process and production-oriented training programs for industrial workers, announced a new series of e-learning modules designed to help companies get new workers up-to-speed faster, reduce downtime and improve their bottom lines.
This newly updated two-day course provides an in-depth review of the requirements for process piping systems, including overviews and applications of both the CSA B51-14 Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Code and the ASME-B31.3-2012 Process Piping Code. It includes content on two new CSA B51 clauses and covers topics on both codes from initial design to in-service management.
The projected environmental impacts of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are driving many organizations to reduce their GHG emissions, using independent, third-party verifiers to measure and verify their GHG emissions as part of an overall strategy that could lead to becoming net carbon neutral.
This course provides a background and introduction to greenhouse gas projects – projects that reduce emissions (such as alternative energy projects) or enhance emissions removal (such as forestry projects). The course reviews the requirements of ISO 14064-2, including principles and requirements for: determining project baselines, monitoring, quantifying and reporting project performance, validation and verification requirements.
